500g boneless chicken (thighs or breast), cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup water (adjust as needed)
Salt to taste
1 tbsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Directions
- Marinate the Chicken
- In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt.
- Add the chicken pieces and coat them well with the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for deeper flavor).
- Cook the Chicken
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Add a little oil.
